Baked Philly Cheesesteak Sliders
Making a proper Philly cheesesteak has normally been limited to the restaurant sphere. But with this easier baked version, you won't need a professional meat slicer or flattop grill to get your Philly fix. Chef John's steak of choice here is sirloin, which he sears alongside diced onions before setting it aside to cool and giving the onions a final saute. Next, the steak gets diced as well, then reunited with the onions, all in the company of pickled peppers, cream cheese, and plenty of provolone cheese. To assemble, you'll cut out the top of your mini sandwich/bread rolls of choice and fill them with that sumptuous steak mixture. From there, you might as well keep provolone flowing, topping off the sliders with more cheese before baking them to gooey, golden brown perfection. There's seriously no better dish you can make for your buddies coming over to watch the game. Get the recipe for Chef John's Baked Philly Cheesesteak Sliders.
