The Hawaiians have got it figured out with this classic comfort food known as loco moco, originally designed for broke, starving college students. You'll start by pre-mixing the gravy ingredients - a savory blend of beef stock, soy sauce, and Worcestershire. Simply pan-fry your beef patties until they develop a nice crust. You'll want to reduce the gravy in those yummy browned bits - thanks to cornstarch, it's quicker than conventional gravies.
