Ice Cream Tiramisu Cake
Heavenly for coffee lovers, but dreamy and sweet for everyone else, too—just don’t enjoy too close to bedtime! Create a deep coffee-flavored syrup with sugar, water, espresso and coffee liqueur. Then split a sponge cake in half and brush one half with the coffee syrup. Sprinkle with finely ground espresso beans and spread with espresso ice cream. Top with the other cake half, brush with remaining syrup and freeze. When firm, spread with coffee ice cream, freeze again, then slice and serve a little sweet pick-me-up.
