Potato and Cheese Pierogi

There’s nothing quite so satisfying as a big bowl of dumplings, and this recipe will require some time to prepare, but the results are delicious—and it’s a great excuse to get kids and family around to help you craft the dumplings. Cook potatoes, then create your dough from flour, eggs, salt and water. Roll dough out thin, then cut out circles with a biscuit cutter or glass. Create the filling from the cooled potatoes, processed cheese, salt, pepper and onion salt. Fill each circle of dough with 1 or 2 tablespoons of filling, seal and boil until they float to indicate that they’re done.
