Enjoy the wonderful richness of stroganoff in this simple preparation. Marinate chunks of beef chuck roast in red wine, salt and black pepper. Cook the beef until browned and set aside while you melt butter in the same pan and cook onion, garlic and salt; set those aside, cook mushrooms and set them aside, too. Next create a roux of butter, flour and beef stock. Add reserved red wine marinade, Worcestershire sauce, prepared mustard and red pepper flakes. Add back all the veggies and beef and simmer until meat is tender. Just before you serve, preferably over egg noodles, stir in sour cream and cream cheese!
