Begin by cooking chopped onion, then add minced garlic and chicken stock until it simmers. Add freshly chopped broccoli and cook until green and tender. Puree, then add cream and freshly grated nutmeg, black pepper, cayenne and salt. Slather butter on some slices of bread and toast in the oven until they’re big croutons.
