Oh, that's too much work and too much clean-up. Using a microwave is so much easier, faster and cleaner. Drop bacon pieces into a bag filled with brown sugar. Gently squeeze the brown sugar into the bacon. Don't worry about areas where the brown sugar doesn't adhere. Using a large plate, place 2 layers of paper towels onto the plate. Lay the sugared bacon onto the plate. Microwave for 5 minutes or until the bacon is cooked. Remove the hot bacon quickly, let it cool, crumble it, and store in a zipper-type plastic bag, then freeze for future use.
