In this video, Chef John teaches you how to make a perfect party appetizer. Inspired by the Peking duck, this version is similar in flavors but is much easier in preparation. First, you’ll season duck legs with Chinese five-spice powder and roast them low and slow in the oven. While the legs are roasting, whisk up hoisin sauce with lemon juice, sesame oil and a bit of hot sauce. This will be your drizzling sauce for the lettuce cups.
