Used 1 pound fettuccine and cooked shrimp in chicken broth, garlic with, dried basil, dried parsley, cumin, and Italian spices. No wine, no oil. Even my no fat dieters loved it. We'll have it again soon.

I cooked this with pound of fettuccine, used no oil, cooked shrimp and garlic in chicken bullion, add dash of cumin and Italian spices. No wine and dried basil and parsley. Even my no dieters loved it.

I am Italian and I would never cook this dish this way, everything gets cold...make the sauce first let it cook the allotted time add the shrimp raw and let the shrimp cook, in the meantime cook the pasta, by the time the shrimp are cooked so is the pasta, toss it into the sauce.. once you cook shrimp and take it out then make the pasta, does not make sense, shrimp will over cook....but then that's my opinion
