It works for me! I had to experiment with timing on my 1100 watt microwave. I cut the power to 8 and it worked. Sometimes it may turn brown, then I go to the next step. My friends love my peanut brittle, and now looking for cashew brittle and pecan brittle recipes.

The first thing you have to do is watch carefully as the mixture cooks in the microwave. The timing depends totally on the power of your microwave. If you see the mixture is turning brown, take it out and proceed to the next step. It might take a bit of practice, but once you get it right, you'll be happy you made the effort!

someone should be prosecuted for putting this recipe on here. I followed this recipe exactly. my microwavable pyrex bowl broke in half as I was taking out of the microwave. it severly burned my legs and arms, destroyed my kitchen carpet, and my new microwave. WARNING:DO NOT TRY THIS . YOU COULD BE SEVERLY INJURED. not to mention costing you hundreds in replacing carpet and microwave
