I make an even simpler slow cooker beef roast for sandwiches by taking a 3 to 4 lb. boneless rump roast, one package of au jus mix(dry), one pkg of dry Italian dressing mix and one 12 ounce can of beer and cook for 6 to 8 hrs. Then it will pull apart with a fork and use for sandwiches or place over cooked noodles. This is one of the best recipes for pulled beef sandwiches I have found and so simple, too.
