Slow Cooker Apple Cider Braised Pork
In this video, you’ll see how to make a pork roast in your slow cooker. You’ll sear the pork shoulder on all sides, and then sauté shallots or onions in the same pan, deglazing with a little apple cider vinegar. Then everything goes into the slow cooker, along with apple juice or apple cider, whole garlic cloves, and a bay leaf. It’s so easy to prepare. Once the pork shoulder is done, you’ll simply reduce the braising liquid down to a savory sauce, adding a little Dijon mustard and butter. So delicious spooned over slices of incredibly tender roasted pork. Watch the video, then get Chef John’s recipe for Slow Cooker Apple Cider Braised Pork.
