Since the yeast is added with the other dry ingredients, I'd recommend instant yeast. (Regular dry yeast is usually dissolved in sugar water first.)

This video does at least two things that don't match up: 1. it clearly says to use instant yeast but the video shows a packet of active dry yeast. 2. The dialogue says to use 1/4 cup of butter but they clearly use a full stick which of course is 1/2 cup. So I guess just make sure you click on the link to get the actual recipe which calls for instant yeast and 1/4 cup butter.

the recipe said instant yeast but the video used active dry yeast which one do we need to use?
