How to Peel and Devein Shrimp

Pre-peeled shrimp are convenient, but also expensive. In this video, you’ll learn how to peel and devein shrimp in three simple steps. You’ll discover the advantages of flash frozen shrimp when fresh shrimp are unavailable. You’ll also see a neat trick for deveining the shrimp with the peels still on, and you’ll get a great tip for leaving a handy little holder at the tail end of peeled shrimp that’s perfect for dipping! Be sure to save your shrimp peels to make a sauce for seafood or vegetables—or freeze them to make shrimp stock later. Healthy, low fat, and full of protein, shrimp are also wonderfully versatile to cook with: great on the grill, in salads, in stir-fries, soups, and stews.

I have tried to watch several videos and they are unwatchable. The ads/commerials are crystal clear but the actual videos are just streaks of color, mostly green.

Never de-veined a shrimp before...usually bought ready to eat if I bought it at all. I would have loved more information, though. It didn't seem to cover the differences. Was that raw shrimp or cooked shrimp?
