How to Make Cookie Icing

You’ll be surprised how easy it is to make your own frosting from scratch. In this video, you’ll learn how to make homemade icing for decorating cookies. All it takes is three easy steps and a just a few ingredients: confectioner’s sugar, milk, corn syrup, a little almond extract for flavor, and some food coloring. We’ll show you how to combine the ingredients until smooth and glossy. From there, all that remains is to divide the icing into bowls and add different food colorings. You’ll see two ways for frosting your cookies: painting with a brush and dipping. Making homemade icing isn’t just simple, it’s also inexpensive and free from preservatives.
