I had a typo, sorry. It should read, "of salted butter". Not "off".

Nope. I won't make these. That's basically a frosting they're piping into the center and then covering the tops of the cupcakes with the rest of the frosting. If you want a cream filling that taste incredible and is easy, then try this: 1/2 cup of milk; 2 1/2 tablespoons of all purpose flour; 1/2 cup of granulated sugar; 1/2 cup (1 stick) off salted butter; 1/2 teaspoon of clear vanilla flavoring. Combine the flour and milk. Cook on low until it turns into a thick paste. Let cool completely. Cream together the butter, sugar, and vanilla. Add to cooled paste and beat until fluffy. (It won't be as fluffy as frosting. This could take awhile. Also, if your paste is not completely cooled, your mixture may look curdled) When ready, just pipe filling into the cupcakes. Also, their cake recipe sounds really good, but I would make One change. I would substitute coffee for the water. (It enhances the flavor of the chocolate considerably. Really great taste)
