Kalua Pig in a Slow Cooker

In this video, you’ll see how to make tender, succulent Hawaiian-style pork in your slow cooker. This recipe is incredibly simple. The key is a simple rub mixture of Hawaiian sea salt and a little liquid smoke—combined with many hours cooking in the slow cooker. The meat comes out so tender, and with the smoky flavor you get from a real Hawaiian pig roast. For a special treat, serve this shredded pork with coleslaw on sweet Hawaiian rolls! Get KIKUKAT's 5-star recipe for Kalua Pig in a Slow Cooker. This is a must recipe for a luau celebration! Best of all, you don’t dig an enormous hole in your back yard! See how it’s done!

I've made this with Black Hawaiian salt, and it's THE BEST pulled pork (from a crock pot) that I've ever tasted!!!

Are the bananas green or ripe?

I have tried this in the oven also but I added some soy sauce, Hawaiian Rock salt and wrapped it up in Tea leaf or Banana leaf and covered pan with foil at 350 degrees for 3 hrs or until meat is soft. Delishous!
