I like it with the bell pepper. A curious side note; in a similar recipe from an old community cook book, bell pepper was called a mango. Anyway, this is one of my old favorites. On a negative note, am I the only one annoyed by the music?

Why does everybody add their two cents to alter a recipe? Just say thanks,great recipe.

Similar to what my family cooks. We use broth instead of water and not as much salt. Also add some green pepper. Would be more flavorful if you saute the onion and garlic and then add the ground beef. Sometimes my mother adds sliced mushrooms or cheddar cheese.
