Mom's Scalloped Potato Gratin
Chef John proves that mom does know best with this version of scalloped potatoes! Russet potatoes get sliced up, arranged in a casserole dish, and sprinkled with salt, pepper, cayenne, and Cheddar cheese. This process gets repeated for a total of three layers before milk is poured over top, almost covering the potatoes.
