Pan Bagnat (Pressed French Tuna Sandwich)

To start building this French-inspired masterpiece of a sandwich, garlic is stirred into olive oil and set aside while we partially hollow out a day-old, crusty loaf of bread. After brushing some of the infused oil over our bread slices, tomatoes, condiments, tuna, and other flavorful ingredients, are layered on.
