A decadent roux takes the place of processed soup in this rich casserole, which starts on the stovetop. White Cheddar cheese is mixed into the light roux, creating our creamy sauce. After we boil our egg noodles, they get stirred together with our homemade sauce blend, canned tuna, peas, and seasonings. This gets transferred to a casserole dish where it's topped with a Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese and bread crumb blend.
