Raspberry-Rose Scones
I love the combination of raspberry and rose! I've tried it in cookies and turnovers and recently decided to adapt a scone recipe to include both. These are lovely with a cup of floral tea. Sprinkle dried rose petals on top for a pretty presentation.
Pain de Campagne - Country French Bread
I got this recipe out of a novel and made some minor changes. It is a yummy French bread that is worth the wait.
Braided Egg Bread
This makes a very large and impressive loaf. I have used it for large parties.
Noni Afghani
This is an easy bread recipe that results in a soft, tender flatbread. My native Afghani friend says that this bread tastes better than the traditional bread she buys at the store. Enjoy!
How to Make French Baguettes
I always thought you can't make real French baguettes at home, but once I tried it I realized I was wrong. Again. You're going to be fairly shocked when you realize just how simple this is. The only way to make bread this any more French is to put some butter on it!
English Saffron Bread
The exotic scents of saffron and lemon will fill your kitchen when you bake this beautiful braided bread.
Churros
Sweet, fragrant Mexican-style churros are easy to make at home!
Kouign-Amann
Pronounced 'queen-a-mahn,' kouign-amann wouldn't be one of the world's greatest pastries if it also weren't a legendary labor of love. The irresistible combination of sweet, salty, sticky, buttery, crispy, flaky, and tender is something you must experience to believe. Made with bread flour, the dough is a little different from croissants or puff pastry. Salt is also key here; the authentic ones are about as savory as they are sweet.
Tortillas II
Fresh and tender wheat flour tortillas are great with breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Indian Naan II
This is an authentic Indian Naan recipe. I have made this many times. It goes well with Indian curry which has a lot of gravy, such as the Butter Chicken.
Premium Pizza Crust
This is a double-rise dough typical of Neapolitan pizza. Two different rise methods are provided, one overnight in refrigerator and the other with a sponge.
Chocolate Babka
Of all of the breads I've baked, my friends love this one the most. It's soft and moist, and the chocolate just melts in your mouth when you bite into a slice. I hope you'll like it as much as we do!
