St. Patrick's Day Deviled Eggs
I wanted a great GREEN recipe for St. Patty's day but couldn't really find one, so I came up with this and hopefully everyone will get into the St. Patty's spirit with green deviled eggs!
Tarek's Irish Stout Fondue
The best fondue ever; made with beer and three kinds of cheese! Enjoy this recipe as a snack or a meal! Great for parties or great to trick your kids into eating their veggies. You will love this smooth, flavorful dish. Serve with bread, veggies, and meats of all kinds. We like green peppers, grape tomatoes, carrots, mushrooms, cucumbers, celery, ham, and salami for dipping.
Dubliner and Guinness®
Serve this Irish beer and cheese dip with pretzels for a tasty snack. You can use any Irish cheese you prefer if Dubliner isn't available to you.
Meyer Lemon Avocado Toast
I like to use this recipe when I have a ripe avocado that I don't want to waste. It is absolutely delicious and a wonderful source of fiber and fatty acids. Feel free to get creative with the ingredients! Substitute cilantro with mint or parsley, or chia seeds with sesame or poppy seeds.
An unbaked spinach dip. Unlike many other spinach dips this one is served deliciously cold. Enjoy! You can replace the red bell pepper with minced carrot or cucumber, or try using a combination of the three.
I took elements of several chimichurri recipes I found to come up with this combination, which has become a favorite. Can be stored for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
Cilantro Edamame Hummus
Traditionally made with chickpeas, this hummus has a new twist using shelled edamame. Serve with pita chips or celery sticks.
Originally a recipe from the 1960's that was meant to be served with drinks for a St. Paddy's day celebration. Personally, I think these are good for any occasion!
Boxty is a traditional Irish dish made of potatoes. An old Irish rhyme goes: 'Boxty on the griddle, boxty on the pan; if you can't make boxty, you'll never get a man'.
