Mom's Brown Gravy
A nice rich brown gravy, completely vegetarian, and perfect for potatoes or vegetables.
Quick Vegan Gravy
Delicious vegan gravy! This is great to make biscuits and gravy or for Thanksgiving over mashed potatoes. Pareve margarine is Kosher margarine, it can be bought at most grocery stores.
Creamy Onion Gravy
This creamy onion gravy gets its sour tang from buttermilk. Use with mashed potatoes, or as we had them when I was a child, German dumplings. Leftover cooking water from potatoes is best, but regular water will do.
Mom's Country Gravy
This is my mother's recipe I grew up with. It is very tasty and is great with biscuits and sausage.
Black Pepper Gravy
A creamy and peppery white gravy that will sure to please everyone! This goes great on fries, mashed potatoes, and meats! If you are wary of adding all of the pepper, add a teaspoon at a time and taste. I like mine really peppery, so I always use the 2 tablespoons. My mother doesn't like it so peppery, so she tends to use 1 or 1 1/2 tablespoons. The best part about this recipe is that you can adjust the spice to your liking!
Mushroom Cream Gravy Sauce
An ambrosial sauce that is irresistible! This is excellent atop smashed potatoes or as a sauce for long, flat pasta. Adjust seasonings for a variety of complex flavors! Common substitutions include paprika and cayenne in lieu of the Italian herbs used here!
Vegan Brown Gravy
Super simple vegan gravy recipe I use for poutine, savory pies, and mashed potatoes. You can add any herbs or seasonings of your choice.
This is a creamy and thick vegan brown gravy which is excellent with the vegan 'meat' loaf, vegan mashed potatoes, or vegan biscuits. This gravy is so yummy, any meat-eater would enjoy it.
Vegan Mushroom Gravy
This vegan and vegetarian mushroom gravy is rich, thick, and creamy, but without using any dairy! It is also quick and easy to make. Serve with mashed potatoes or pork chops (if you're not vegetarian).
Vegetarian Mushroom Gravy
This gravy is sure to please any vegetarian or even non-vegetarian. It's flavorful, rich, and is as good on turkey or prime rib as it is on a vegetarian meatloaf or mashed potatoes. It can be made in advance, stored in the fridge, and reheated on the stovetop or in the microwave.
