Watermelon Fire and Ice Salsa
Juicy watermelon replaces tomatoes in this salsa that's simultaneously cool and spicy hot -- perfect for a summer barbeque. Serve it with tortilla chips, or use it as a topping for grilled chicken or fish.
A simple salsa that is sweet and just mildly spicy. This is made with watermelon, Anaheim pepper, onion and balsamic vinegar. Hotter chilies can be substituted for more spice.
Watermelon Avocado Salsa
This is a recipe that I made up one night with a friend. We put it over mahi-mahi, but it would work well over grilled chicken breast. Enjoy!
Watermelon Pineapple Salsa
Watermelon, crushed pineapple, sweet onion, cilantro, orange juice and Tabasco® make a refreshing summer twist on salsa. Bring copies of the recipe whenever you bring this, people will beg for a copy! Serve with tortilla chips.
Watermelon Tomato Salsa
Terrific fruit salsa mix. Be sure to seed the tomatoes, otherwise it will be too watery. There is never anything left of this...it seems to appeal to all tastes.
Uncle Jon's Watermelon Salsa
This is a good way to use up extra watermelon, but also a good excuse to buy some watermelon in the first place. I was surprised by how well the watermelon works in salsa.
Watermelon and Corn Salsa
Fresh summer flavors that make an excellent topper for salads or sides with a bbq meal. Add a little cilantro for an extra fresh pop if you like. You could also spice it up with some fresh jalapeno. I designed this recipe myself, and my family loved it. I truly hope that you will try it and love it too!
Watermelon Vidalia® Salsa
A salsa made with watermelon and Vidalia® onion. To make it less spicy, remove all seeds from the peppers -- or you could use an equal quantity of a milder pepper such as poblano.
Spicy Watermelon Salsa
This is a spicy-sweet salsa that starts off cool and ends in heat. It's hot, but very refreshing. I keep the seeds in the peppers for maximum heat. This was a prize-winning recipe at our neighbor's classic Cinco de Mayo party.
Holler Peno Watermelon Salsa
If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen! This recipe kicks and screams but works on so many different levels. Simple ingredients, powerful flavor profile. o garlic. Keeps the flavors of watermelon and jalapeno clean and crisp. Great with chips, or as a side with chicken, pork, beef, or seafood dishes.
