  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, peanut butter and vanilla. Mix in sugar and egg until well blended. Combine the flour, cocoa and baking soda; Stir into the peanut butter mixture. Add the cut-up chocolate and peanuts. Stir well.
  3. Wet hands with cold water and roll teaspoon sized amounts of dough into balls. Flatten balls slightly and place 2 inches apart on cookie sheets.
  4. Bake for 12 minutes. Transfer to wire racks to cool.

followed the directions to a T and this came out so yummy. They did not get hard or go flat. Will make again and again I am sure

Yummy! Way addicting though.

These were really good! They were a tad bit dry and crumbly, but not so much that it detracted from the yummy chocolate-peanut taste. Just eat them with a big glass of milk. :-)

Loved them!! My new favorite chocolate cookie!!

I made these today and they were absolutely fabulous even though I didn't have the chocolate chips on hand. Definitely a favorite.
