View All Saved Items Rate Print Share Share Tweet Pin Email Add Photo Servings: 30 Yield: 5 dozen Jump to Nutrition Facts Ingredients 4 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate ½ cup vegetable oil 4 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 2 cups all-purpose flour 2 cups white sugar 2 teaspoons baking powder ½ teaspoon salt 1 cup chopped pecans ⅓ cup confectioners' sugar for decoration Directions Melt chocolate squares and cooking oil in a saucepan. Let cool and pour into mixing bowl. Add sugar, eggs and vanilla, mixing until well blended. Sift dry ingredients together and gradually add to chocolate/egg mixture, stirring well.
