  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the pork with salt and pepper. Fry in the oil until browned on each side, 2 to 3 minutes. Transfer the pork to a baking dish.

  • Bake in the preheated oven until cooked through and no longer pink in the centers, about 5 minutes. Remove from the oven.

  • Reduce the heat under the skillet to medium and add the garlic. Cook and stir just until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Stir in the wine and cranberry sauce. Simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly, 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in sage and thyme. Return the pork to the skillet and turn to coat with the sauce. Place on plates to serve and garnish with fresh parsley.

The sauce was tasty but way too thin like water even though I reduced and reduced forever. The timing was way off too it took much MUCH longer. Will try it again and figure out how to thicken the sauce. Read More

It sounded good but I will probably not make it again. I thought the spices were a little too much. Read More

I thought this was a great quick supper. I had 1" boneless loin chops so baking was perfect nice and moist. I was looking for a recipe to use up some leftover cranberry sauce I had in the fridge so I used an equal amount of wine and 1 clove of garlic fresh parsley but just a dash of dried sage and thyme. My husband said he'd like it even better with a turkey cutlet! Read More

My family and I loved this recipe the sauce was amazing. I did cut the cooking wine to just 1 cup because some of the other comments noted that the sauce was too runny. Also instead of placing the chops back into the skillet I poured the sauce over the pork chops and cooked them for 10 min in the oven. These pork chops were amazing! Read More

This recipe was good. It wasn't my favorite pork recipe but it was decent. If I make it again I will cut back on the spices. Read More

I used this recipe on a "center sliced pork leg". It came out great. Moist and slightly sweet just the way pork should be. I omitted the oven part as I saw no need for it. Read More

I like fruit with pork and enjoy the flavor of wine in cooking so I thought I would really love this recipe. In the end it was just OK. Good but not fabulous. It does get points for easy prep and quick cooking though. Read More
