Cinnamon Glazed Walnuts

  1. Heat oven to 250 degrees F. Combine sugar, cinnamon, red pepper, and salt in a small bowl; set aside.
  2. Beat egg white until foamy in a medium bowl. Add walnuts; tossing to coat. Add spice mixture; toss to coat nuts evenly.
  3. Spread nuts on a greased baking sheet in a single layer. Bake 1 hour, stirring nuts after 30 minutes. Cool slightly and break apart. Cool completely and store in airtight container up to 2 weeks.

I always keep these on hand for putting in salads and other recipes that call for glazed nuts

Yummy and perfect. My only suggestion is to make sure you use Pam on the pan otherwise it will stick. But, overall it was great!

These are delicious! I use them on salads and stand alone snacks. They also make a great gift in a pretty tin or jar.

Since I found this recipe, I've made it for every party we have. My guests love it. I've also tried it with pecans which is just as tasty. Yum!
