Matcha Lemonade

One sip of this perfect summer drink, and you just might think you're at Starbucks®. It's loaded with healthy antioxidants, and making your own is way less expensive and oh-so-easy.

  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder

  • 1 medium lemon, juiced

  • 1 tablespoon honey, or more to taste

  • 1 cup cold water


  1. Combine matcha and lemon juice in a pint-sized Mason jar, and whisk until fully blended. Add honey, whisking well, and stir in the cold water.

  2. Screw the lid on tightly, and shake for about 20 seconds until all is well combined. Taste, and adjust sweetness to your preference, if necessary. Serve over ice.

Cook's Tip:

You also can use a cocktail shaker loaded with ice, and then strain into an ice-filled glass.
