Chicken bogg is made up of rice, chicken, smoked sausage, ground sausage and onions. Great for cold winter days or a hungry, hunting group of men. Great served with cornbread.

Directions

  • Place the chicken, smoked sausage, pork sausage and onions into a large pot. Fill with enough water to cover them all by 3 inches. Season with a little salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, cover and cook for 1 hour. Stir in the rice, and turn off heat. Let stand covered for 5 minutes to cook the rice.

This was very easy to make and tasted pretty good. I think however one could cut down on the amount of water as the rice was a trifle soggy. Overall this was a tasty dish. Read More
