Rated as 4.62 out of 5 Stars

"This is an awesome cranberry salad, easy to make and even easier to eat! My mother in law is an amazing cook and at Christmas or Thanksgiving the family demands her famous cranberry salad. Best prepared the night before the big feast!"

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the gelatin mix and boiling water until gelatin is dissolved. Stir in the cold water. Transfer to a gelatin mold, or keep in a bowl; cover and refrigerate.
  2. Place the oranges, lemon, apples, and cranberries into a bowl. Sprinkle the sugar over the top. Set aside so the fruit has time to bleed.
  3. When the gelatin is partially set, stir in the fruit. Chill until set, preferably overnight. It becomes tastier with age!

Great jello salad, loaded with fruit. We love all things tart and this fit the bill. Per other review, I will make with raspberry (or maybe apricot?) jello next time & there will be a next tim...

This recipe was easy to make and turns out wonderful. Great for Thanksgiving and Christmas!!

Easy and delicious. I think its better with raspberry jello, but this depends on your taste buds.

My family makes something like this, but we have never added lemon. We do add a lot of coconut which helps it keep it shape (put it in a jello mold and it is very pretty to set on the table).

I used mandarin oranges, raspberry jello, and added pineapple! YUM!

I normally use cherry Jello and add pecans. Usually put it in a food processor to chop apples, oranges, cranberries and nuts. Love this dish!
