  1. Heat oil in deep-fryer to 365 degrees F (185 degrees C).
  2. Place 1/3 potatoes in the fryer, and fry for about 5 to 8 minutes, or until almost done. Add 1/3 cilantro, and continue frying for 1 minute. Remove from oil, and drain on paper towels. Skim off any remaining cilantro. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

I love cilantro but this just doesn't cut it. I was reaching for the salt, pepper and ketchup in order to give these some flavor.

The cilantro didn't really make much of a difference, they were still very bland. Don't think I'll be making these again.

I added chopped garlic & some onion. It came out great!

It tasted pretty ok. I use a lot of cilantro in my food, & so it came out as nothing special.
