Directions
{{model.addEditText}} Print- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In saucepan over low heat, melt caramels and butter. Remove from heat; add EAGLE BRAND(r). Mix well; set aside.
- Prepare cake mix as package directs. Spread 2 cups batter into greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan; bake 15 minutes. Spread caramel mixture over cake; spread remaining batter over caramel mixture. Top with pecans. Return to oven; bake 30 to 35 minutes or until cake springs back when touched.

It you love "turtle" candy you will love this cake. The recipe is quick and easy but the results look like you've worked for hours. I took it to work and everyone raved.

This cake was easy to make, looked great and tasted fabulous; even without the nuts. I frosted it with a thin layer of chocolate frosting.

Awesomely gooey! I have made this several times, and it always get rave reviews. I skip the nuts though & frost with chocolate or caramel frosting.
