Honey Lemon Tea


This lemon tea is my favorite tea. My dad used to make it for me all the time. It is a sweet and sour tea — you taste the honey, then the lemon. Great for soothing sore throats. Yum, yum, yum!

  • 1 cup water

  • 2 teaspoons honey

  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon white sugar, or to taste


  1. Pour water into a mug. Add honey and heat in the microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds.

  2. Stir in lemon juice, mixing until honey is dissolved. Stir in sugar.
