  1. Heat oil in a heavy pot or deep-fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. In a medium glass or metal bowl, whip egg whites until they just hold a stiff peak. Fold in Parmesan cheese until evenly distributed. Form level teaspoons of batter into balls.
  3. Fry balls a few at a time, turning once until crisp and golden. Using a slotted spoon, remove puffs from oil and place onto paper towels to drain.

A little weird. I love parmesan cheese, so I thought i would love this, but they're like parmesan donut holes. A little too greasy and just weird. Sorry....

I made these for a party and everyone loved them!

Make sure you fold the cheese in. If you stir it in, it will be very dense.

Pretty good. My friends thought that I bought them! I guess that's a compliment.

Love the recipe! It was a great hit and i love the way they just melt in your mouth.

We share an account, and... We didn't have enough cheese to make it, adn it kept sticking to the pot. Our mother hated them, BUT WE LUFFED EM!!!

These were very easy to make and quite tasty! They did seem a little salty to me, but I guess that's to be expected. All in all, these were fun and good! Thanks for sharing. :)
