  1. In a slow cooker, combine the first eight ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours.
  2. Combine flour and water until smooth; stir into soup. Cover and cook on high 30 minutes longer or until soup is thickened.
  3. Stir in cream cheese and cheddar cheese until blended. Stir in beer if desired. Cover and cook on low until heated through. Serve with desired toppings.

I did use most of this recipe, but I did change it. I took out the cheddar cheese for the same amount of swiss cheese. I did add 2 cups of uncooked, cubed chicken and 2 cups of cubed ham. Thi...

The beer ruined this...and not good left over

This tasted good. The beer flavor was really strong, so if you don't like beer, I would leave it out. The carrots also didn't get cooked too well, so I recommend either using shredded carrots ...
