Pecan Pancakes with Spiced Syrup

I used a homemade whole wheat baking mix. I did increase the water just a touch because I used a whole wheat baking mix--whole wheat flour tends to soak up the liquid ingredients quicker than AP flour. We LOVED these pancakes and syrup. LOVED THEM. NO leftovers. We ate every single bite. So good.
