  1. In a saucepan, bring water and salt to a boil. Stir in rice; cover and remove from the heat. Let stand for 5 minutes.
  2. In a skillet; saute onion and celery in butter until tender. Add to rice. Add soup, broccoli and cheese.
  3. Transfer to a greased 1-1/2-qt. baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

This is a winner! Creamy and cheesy. I have also tried this recipe with broccoli and califlower mix which was even better!

I added minced garlic and fresh mushrooms to this and it was really good.

I had this at my sister's. She added more salt than was called for & it was delicious! Even my picky children loved it. I plan to make it over & over!

I made this for Christmas 2001. What a hit! My nephew asked me to give the recipe to his mom because she doesn't cook this good at home. A definite keeper!
