  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a large, self-closing plastic bag or glass bowl. Add steak and marinate in refrigerator 30 minutes or longer for extra flavor. Remove steak from marinade; discard marinade.
  2. Grill or broil steak 8-12 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Slice on the diagonal and serve.

Marinatated strip steaks and was it ever tender!!!My husband is a retired chef and he was even impressed!! Will be using often and next I'm trying it on chicken and grilled veggies.

I did not give this a 5 rating because the recipe called for round steak which I feel is too chewy (even if it is rare). This is an excellent marinade tho for sirloin or boneless rib eye.
