  1. Place all ingredients except crab meat in 4-quart saucepan.
  2. Heat to boil, cover and boil 5 minutes.
  3. Reduce heat to low, add crab meat, cover, and simmer 10 minutes.

The best and easiest crab soup recipe I've found. I do use frozen mixed vegetables and add about a tablespoon more Old Bay, but that is personal preference. Excellent soup!!

Fabulous recipe from a native Marylander!! I made a few variations...used mixed veggies, an extra can of sweet corn, organic beef broth and added the crab meat with the rest of the ingredients....

Baltimore here!! Made this soup today with leftover crabs. What a soup!!! Boiled a beef shank bone,cut it up, added cabbage and the rest is history.This soup is Baltimore!
