Chicken Thigh Marinade


This chicken thigh marinade is easy to make with soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, lemon juice, and parsley. It adds a delicious sweet and salty flavor to grilled chicken thighs.

  • ¼ cup olive oil

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper


  1. Whisk olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper together in a bowl until well combined.


You can use 1 teaspoon dried parsley in place of the fresh parsley.

To Use:

Combine marinade and 8 skinless, boneless chicken thighs in a large glass or ceramic bowl. Toss until chicken is evenly coated, then cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to overnight. Cook chicken using desired method.
