Saucy Teriyaki Steak Tips

A tasty way to prepare teriyaki steak tips! Given to me by a close friend, it was one of the first recipes I tried after I moved out on my own! Everyone always loves them because you can adjust the recipe to suit your own taste... add different spices or other kinds of veggies and it still comes out great! So easy, you really can't go wrong!

  • 2 pounds Beef, top sirloin, separable lean only, trimmed to 1/4" fat, all grades, raw

  • 2 cups beef broth

  • 1 (10 ounce) bottle teriyaki sauce

  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic

  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

  • 1 medium onion, sliced

  1. Combine steak tips, beef broth, teriyaki sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper in a large saucepan and cook over medium-high heat until the liquid thickens and the steak is firm, but tender, 30 to 45 minutes. Add onions during the last 10 minutes.

Cook's Notes:

You can use your favorite steak marinade instead of teriyaki sauce.

You can use water instead of beef broth.
