Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef

  • ½ small onion, chopped

  • 1 teaspoon ground thyme

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 1 pinch garlic powder

  • 1 ½ cups tomato sauce

  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar

  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 small zucchini, chopped

  • 2 cups uncooked rotini pasta

  • 2 cups frozen whole kernel corn

Directions

  1. Heat a 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and onion. Cook, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown, 8 to 10 minutes. Add thyme, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Drain meat.

  2. Pour in tomato sauce, brown sugar, and Worcestershire. Stir in zucchini, pasta, and corn; bring to a boil. Reduce heat slightly. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender, about 15 minutes.
