  • Combine apple cider and ginger in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Boil for 1 to 2 minutes.

  • Place tea bag in a mug. Pour boiling cider into the mug, straining out the ginger slices. Steep for 1 to 2 minutes. Remove tea bag.

Cook's Note:

You can use 1/2 apple cider and half water, if desired to modify sweetness.

1.26.21 This really hit the spot with a piece of coffee cake on a very foggy Florida morning. It’s warming, packed with flavor, but although it’s very good, it’s on the sweet side for us.
