Add onions and saute until transparent, 5 to 7 minutes. Add tomatoes, beans, and chili powder; bring to a simmer. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes or longer. Cook's Notes: Use any type of beans (black, kidney, pinto, or whatever you like) but for best results use 2 different types. This chili gets better the longer it cooks.
