Recipes Bread Quick Bread Recipes Easy Pumpkin Beer Bread with Pepitas Be the first to rate & review! 2 Photos Use a bottle of your favorite pumpkin ale to make this easy and delicious beer bread. We've cut down on ingredients with baking mix (use store-bought Bisquick or make your own DIY mix with a few pantry staples you probably already have on hand.) This recipe is super customizable, so feel free to adjust the sugar to suit your taste. You can also get creative with the spices you use--cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom would all work well here. Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan with baking spray. Stir baking mix, white sugar, brown sugar, and pumpkin pie spice together in a bowl. Add beer and stir until smooth. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle the top with pepitas. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 50 minutes. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove to a wire rack to cool completely. Cook's Note: I use Bisquick(R) or a homemade baking mix. For the ale, I like Blue Moon(R) Harvest Pumpkin Wheat.
