Greek marinade for chicken or pork with a bright, lemony flavor.

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon dried basil

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • ¼ cup olive oil

  • ¼ cup lemon juice


  1. Combine onion powder, garlic powder, basil, oregano, and pepper in a small bowl. Whisk in olive oil and lemon juice.

Cook's Note:

To use, pour mixture over 1 pound chicken or pork in a large glass or ceramic bowl. Toss to coat. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 3 hours.
