  • Mix brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame seeds, sherry, ketchup, garlic powder, and ginger together in a bowl.

  • Place chicken thighs in the bottom of a slow cooker. Pour sauce over top.

  • Cover and cook until chicken is no longer pink in the center and juices run clear, on Low, 6 to 8 hours, or High, 3 to 4 hours. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

Not the prettiest of dishes but this was super simple and had good flavor. The chicken was fall apart tender to the point you could eat it with chopsticks if you wanted. It was a little bit too sweet for me but overall a good recipe. Read More

Delicious! I doubled the ingredients for the sauce with the exception of the soy sauce, and added the green part of scallions at the last 5 mins of cooking for a garnish. Everyone loved it. Thank you for the great recipe!! Read More
