  • 1 (8 ounce) package cavatappi pasta

  • ½ cup sour cream

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise

  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tablespoon dried dill weed

  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar

  • 2 teaspoons white sugar

  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 lemon, zested

  • ½ cup finely chopped celery

  • 6 ounces cooked and chilled salmon, flaked into bite-sized chunks

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook cavatappi pasta in the boiling water, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, about 8 minutes. Drain, run under cold water, drain again, and allow to cool.

  2. Whisk sour cream, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, dill, white wine vinegar, sugar, pepper, salt, garlic powder, and lemon zest together.

  3. Mix pasta and celery together in a large mixing bowl. Pour in dressing mixture and toss to coat. Gently stir in salmon pieces. Chill for at least 4 hours before serving.
